To do list

This is my to do list right now:

Select a date

Find a event place/reception hall

Make a list of the people to invited

Meet the florist and discuss design and how many flowers

Redo the invite list/ have future Mr. make his list

Meet with a cater (because people have to eat)

Plan a menu of what we want

Look for another apartment (we are going to be newly weds and we need the space)

Add more people to the invite list/ check fiance's list

Measure the tables/count how many tables we need to decorate

Lose weight

Look at apartments

Look for designs and ideals
(I'm finding that vendors want to see your ideals not just have them explained. The bad part about this is that my ideals are new and inventive. "Don't put baby in a box"-of other people designs. And you may say, "But Clarissa, the vendors need a sense of what you want and a ideal to start with. They need the visual before they can create.". Not the case here people! It really isn't because I still have to do a lot of talking, explaining, and telling the vendors to listen to me not my mother.

Register at the local home decor store and maybe Target

Meet with a photographer

Move to the new apartment

Look at that stupid invite list again

Stop smoking

Try to stop smoking

Ok just cut down a little.

I'm sure this list will be undated from time to time.

I said "Yes", Got the ring. Now what?

Oh the joys of a proposal, then the back-breaking torture of actually planning the event. This blog is about that. About my life's journey from a single, hardworking, beautiful, and intelligent woman turned fiancee. Turned evil fire-breathing bridezilla, over-worked employee, can't seem to find time for anything other then a ponytail, and still have to be a loving fiancee to the fiance. This in the matter of months. That is right people months. Actually 2 months to be exact. I know it sounds so soon but I met someone that doesn't complete me, but is part of me. Our relationship is just easy. I only wish everything else could be just as easy too.
Can anyone hand me one of those big red easy buttons please? You know what make that about five of those suckers!
So back to the subject at hand. Yes I plan to fill you all in to the insanity of my life, my ever changing thoughts on the world (including the little piece of the world that is mine), the upcoming wedding, and probably my future as a Mrs. You will be able to experience all those curves ahead that me and the future Mr.Clarissa will be navigating and not have to deal with the consequences (or the nausea). So settle in, buckle up, and hold on to that Oh-Shit handle above your head. Its gonna be a little bumpy.
